Half Off Books sell new and used books. We also have a section of gift and stationary items. Most of the books and other items we sell are priced at least 50% off regular retail. We do have some “new releases” that we sell at regular retail. We also have special purchases that are specially priced. When you come to our store you’ll see four colors of price labels: blue, white, yellow and red. Here is what they represent:

Blue Label: These are few in number in the store. The blue label represents new books that are “Top 100.” They will usually be priced from 0-20% off retail. We carry these as a matter of convenience for our customers.

White Label: These make up about half of our store’s inventory. White labeled books are new. They are publisher overstock, remainders, closeouts or customer returns from “Big Box” retailers. We sell 99% of the white tagged books with a 50% or more discounts from retail. Many of the remainder items have a small remainder mark on the bottom of the book. These are great values!

Yellow Label: These make up about the other half of our store’s inventory. Yellow labeled books are used. They are purchased from our friends and neighbors like you. We sell 99% of the yellow tagged books with a 50% or more discount as well. These are also great values!

Red Label: These make up a small section called “Clearance.” It’s our goal to keep our store ever changing. To do this we’ll offer a clearance section of the above items priced to sell. Most of the books in the clearance will sell for less than $2.00 each.

One last thing about what we sell. First come, first served. Most of the items we sell have limited quantity. Some we can get more of, most we can’t. Once they are gone, they are gone.
